at th e C ottrell schoolhouse recently
Mrs. O ra Van F leet was elected
clerk of the board to till the u nex­
pired portion of th e term of her late
husband, E. E. Van Fleet.
Miss
Rose P o tter has been hired as p rin ­
cipal of the C ottrell school for next
year, and Miss Helen Maxwell as
teach er of the p rim ary departm ent.

the schoolhouse.

band was killed last S aturday when
caught in a dynam ite explosion ou
his ranch near th e C ottrell school,
