Isab ell Wolf, all of Sandy.
Mr. G ray's death took place at
th e United S tates v eteran s' hospi­
tal at W alla W alla, W ashington,
from tu b ercu lo sis, from w hich he
had been ' a sufferer for four
m onths past. He was an overseas
man, having entered th e service in
1918. On his a rriv a l in F ra n ce he
was put a t the front and w as in the
M euse-A rgonne offensive.
After
th is b attle he w as rep o rted m issing
but was la ter found to have been
gassed and w as in a base hospital
He retu rn ed home sh o rtly afte r the
signing of the arm istice. He was
m arried last May to Miss Mildred
Bosholm of Sandy.
Sandy Man Succum bs to Apoplexy
Joseph A. Albel, 54, died last
night about m idnight, a t the fam ily
hom e at Sandy from a sudden a t­
tack of apoplexy. He suffered
stro k e of p ara ly sis six years ago
and it is th o u g h t had never e n tire ­
ly recovered from its effects. He
is survived by his widow, Mrs.
Elsie Albel, and a son W illiam
F u n eral arran g e m en ts a re in the
hands of the G ates F u n eral Home.
