LARGE STILL FOUND ON DODGE PARK ROAD A 700-gallon still w as th e cen ter of observation in G resham y ester day as it w as being tak en th ro u g h op the w ay to P o rtlan d . I t is said to be th e la rg e st ever seized in O r egon and w as found late W ednes day In a barn m ile and a h alf south of th e M ultnom ah county line on Dodge P a rk road. W. T he officers said th e p la n t had been ru n n in g since early in November. In addition to th e still fo u r 1000- gallon and six 800-gallon ta n k s of m ash, 100 sack s of su g ar, a tru c k load of new 10-gallon kegs and m ore th a n 250 gallons of finished product w ere found. Much difficulty w as en countered by the raid in g p a rty in locating the still. A cow -bell signal system , operated from th e o utside of the barn, w as in use by th e o p erato rs of the d istille ry . H ere they erected a $10,000 building c o n tain ing m odern sales room, office and shop for th e display of th e Dodge B rothers autom obiles and efficient shop work. T he building w as oc cupied about th e 1st of May and is one of the show places of G resham as reg a rd s attractiv en e ss of ap pearance. In March of th is year a city com fort statio n ad jacen t to th e city hall w as begun, th e building de signed to be occupied as a stage term in al, as well, by the Dun- th o rp e T ra n sit com pany.
