passed aw ay a t h e r hom e in the
P le a sa n t Home d istric t on S a tu r­
day, November 26, a victim of th e
dreaded m alady of in fan tile p a r­
alysis. Miss K ereh er had been ill
for several w eeks, b u t several days
ago had been rep o rted as g ra d u a l­
ly im proving and hopes w ere en­
te rta in e d for her recovery. The
disease, how ever, had such a firm
hold upon her. affecting p a rtic u la r­
ly th e m uscles and nerves of the
th ro a t and org an s of speech, th a t
rec u p eratio n w as im possible.
