E vangelist Booth-Clibborn, who
was scheduled to preach at th e U n­
denom inational tem ple Sunday a f­
ternoon, was unavodiably detained
and his wife spoke in his stead.
Mrs. Booth-Clibborn was in G resh­
am some m onths age and spoke a t
th e tem ple, w here her serm ons
w ere m uch appreciated.
A num ber from G resham are re g ­
u la rly attending th e Bulgin m e et­
ings w hich a re in pro g ress a t F o s­
te r road and 67th stre e t S. E., in
P o rtlan d . A m ost in te restin g d is­
course w as given S atu rd ay when
Dr. Bulgin delivered his fam ous
lecture, "T he Folks in H om espun
o r th e W hite M ountaineers of th e
S outh.” On th e evening previous
several hundred people w ere u n ­
able to gain en tra n ce to th e ta b e r­
nacle. Standing room m any eve­
nings is a t a premftim.
Mrs. W endall Cleveland and ch il­
dren V irginia and H ow ard spent
th e A rm istice Day week end at th e
hom e of Mr. and Mrs. C harles

H ascall left Sunday for th e ir home
at Pilot Rock, Oregon.
G eorge H ayden has a double g a r ­
age u nder constru ctio n on his prop­
erty at T hird and Kelly.
Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Mealey and
fam ily w ent to W alla W alla, W ash­
ington, for a visit w ith the fo rm e r’s
b ro th er and fam ily over the la st
week end. They also called on old
friends a t Milton, Oregon. Lyle
Mason had charge of the jew elry
store on S aturday.
E ditor H. L. St. C lair has r e ­
tu rn ed to his w ork a t the Outlook
office a fte r several d ays’ absence on
account of illness.

day from Good S am aritan hospital
w here he recently u n derw ent an
operation. He is convalescing at

Mrs. F. E. B atchelor is asssistin g

C. D. Heddin of Buell, Idaho, has
purchased th e four-acre tr a c t of
Andrew B rugger on B irdsdale road.
He will probably build on the p ro p ­
erty during the com ing w inter. The
