Mrs. B ray of P o rtlan d , and Mrs. E.
R. D. H ollensted and her daughter.
T he bride, th e d au g h ter of Mr. and
Mrs. H. S. Clow, w as a form er s tu ­
dent of G resham Union high school.
Mr. H udson is em ployed in T ro u t­
dale. F or the p rese n t they will
m ake th e ir home w ith the groom 's
p a re n ts and Mrs. H udson w ill a s­
sis t in th e postoffice.

fath e r, Ju liu s L. Meier, is about 30
feet aw ay and his fam ily heard the
sound of an autom obile about the
tim e of th e robbery, but little w as
th o u g ht of th e m a tte r u n til it w as
discovered th e E h rm an home had
been broken into. The E hrm ans
w ere not at hom e a t th e tim e of th e
entry.

pupils show ed carefu l train in g and
th e little boys' o rch e stra, accom ­
panied a t the organ by th eir te a c h ­
er, w as w orthy of especial m ention.

eig h th grade diplom a. Judge L ang-
guth was the sp eak er of the eve­

clee r Inn Friday. One hundred and
fifty w ere in attendance.

ber.
T he dance w hich w as planned for
S atu rd ay night a t th e Colum bia
g ran g e hall h as been postponed in ­
definitely on account of the death
of Mrs. F ra n k K nieriem .

W ilkes school w ere held on W ed­
nesday evening, Ju n e 1. County

it. T he auditorium w as p rettily
decorated w ith Scotch broom and
sm all fir trees. At th e close of th e
o p ere tta th e g irls p le asa n tly s u r­
prised th e prin icp al, Mrs. Lois
Gray, by presen tin g h er w ith a set
of book-ends. A few days previous
the pupils had su rp rised th e te ac h ­
ers w ith a flower show er. On
T hursday th e te ac h ers and pupils
enjoyed a picnic in th e Row an
grove.

te r ’s m other, Mrs. Robinson of Mc­
M innville, and Mr. and Mrs. A lbert
