“A Jo u rn ey T hrough th e Bible”
Is th e In terestin g topic for a series
of Bible studies to be p resented at
th e Saron L u th e ra n ch u rch during
th e spring season. T he in tro d u c­
to ry study on th e findings of a rc h ­
eology in re g a rd to Bible events
tw o w eeks ago w as found very In­
te restin g . T he study next Sunday
evening is called : “W hat God has
done” and p ic tu res th e creation as
described in G enesis, c h a p te r 1. It
will not be a one sided discussion,
how ever, as th e scientific theory
w ill have equal consideration w ith
th e Biblical. S tereopticon slides
w ill show th e exact spot w here the
p ara d ise of the Bible is thought to
have been located. T here w ill also
be about 100 hand-colored slides of
p ara d ise as it is. A special fea­
tu re w ill be some 50 slides show ing
th e la te st p h otographs of th e p la n ­
ets and th e co n stellatio n s of the
skies. F or those who w ish to en ­
te r into th e study of th is im portant
q u estion, it w ould be advisable to
be p resen t S unday night as th e pic­
tu re s then show n can not be viewed
again, being special slides for this
occasion only. T he p astor, the
Rev. Enoch Sandeen, s ta rts out
Monday evening for a w eek's lec­
tu r e to u r in th e s ta te w hen th e
sam e subject is to he discussed.
