The M ethodist Ladles Aid will be
held Tuesdu.v afternoon at 2:30 at
the church and the S outheast c ir ­
cle will be the hostess fo r'th e o cca­
sion. O rdinarily th e m eetings are
held on W ednesday afternoons, but
on account of the T hanksgiving
holiday on T hursday, it was decid­
ed to have the general Aid m eeting
on Tuesday.

Mrs. Howard Johnson who lives
near V entura park Is in St. V in­
cents hospital w here she has u n ­
dergone an operation. Mrs. C. II.
G alkins, the m other of Mrs. Jo h n ­
son, will stay at her (laughter’s

dren. C. H. G alkins Is now able to
be out again afte r being under a
p hysician’s ca re for the past five
weeks. It Is thought his illness
has resulted from too much lifting

senior high school class appeared
a t the G resham grad e school till
m orning and. as a fo reru n n er of
the play, "Gappy R icks” to he p re ­
sented next Tuesday and W ednes­
day evenings at th e high school
gym nasium , put on skits of the
comedy, much to the delight of the
grade school students. They v isit­
ed Golumbian high at C orbett this
afternoon for the sam e purpose.
