Revenue, b u ilt the first bridge acro ss
th e Sandy riv e r; he w as also In stru

er, H arvey Cross, who is now county
judge in C lackam as county. Mr. Rev
enue w as alm o st 96 y ea rs of age a t
th e tim e of his death.

When N athan E. G reen of R ock
wood. Oregon, w ent to his garag e
yesterday he found an autom obile, the
sam e m ake and sty le as his own, but
w ith T exas license p lates on it. Im
m ediately he telephoned the P o rtlan d
police.
"S u re,” said O. R. W illiam s, record
b u reau officer, " th a t c a r w as re p o rt
ed stolen S atu rd ay .”
T hen it all cam e out. Mr. G reen
had driven to P o rtlan d S atu rd ay af-
te rn o n and p ark ed his car. W hen he
sta rte d home he had tak en the Texas
car, th in k in g it w as his own.
Mr. G reen re tu rn e d th e ca r to its
ow ner, H. F. R ath jln . who is staying
at 5511 F o ster road. And in the m ean
tim e, he w ent up to S ixth and S tark
stre e ts and found his own c a r—still
stan d in g w here he had p ark ed it the
day before.
