postofflce and th e depot and bids have
been asked by th e postal d ep artm en t
for a m essenger to fill th e vacancy in
this b ranch of th e service. H e has
been ca rry in g the m all for six m onths
| past but co n sid ers th e w ork too heavy
fo r him and has decided to give it up.

several m onths p ast, a re leaving for
th e ir fru it ran c h w hich is located near
E ugene and w ill rem ain th e re to ta k e
ca re of th e fru it. They are undecided
as to ju s t w hen they will re tu rn to
