T allm an was traveling south on Main
stre e t and In m aking the tu rn to the
east a t Division he was stru ck by the
m otorcycle, w hich was proceeding
north on Main. The m otorcycle was
badly dam aged, but Mr. T allm an 's m a­
chine did not suffer as g reat a dam age,
probably being aro u n d >5 for rep airs.
He claim s he m ade th e proper signal
for tu rn in g at th e co rn er but th a t
R indero failed to observe it. T he la t­
te r sta te s he did not see T allm an give
th e signal, so It seem s to be a q u es­
tion as to w hat the outcom e of th e a f ­
fair will be. T he case w as brought
before Ju stice of th e Peace Brow n for
settlem ent, but he advocated th a t the
p arties settle th e m a tte r between
them selves if possible.
