A lfred E. C lark as a candidate for
th e republican nom ination for office of
United S tates se n ato r in th e May
p rim aries has m any stro n g c h a ra c te r
istics and will have a pow erful influ
ence in the cam paign. He is an old
cam paigner, a convincing speaker, a
hard w orker, an a stu te atto rn ey and
may tye depended on to answ er his
enem ies and win m any friends. As a
speaker C lark has a rep u tatio n for
sh a rp analysis and keen satire.

record and also upon Mr. Steiw er,
