Mrs. W. C. B urch h as received the
sad intelligence of th e d eath of a s is­
ter, Mrs. B ertha Ogden, who died in
Los A ngeles W ednesday from black
sm allpox. She had gone th e re la st
fall from her hom e in P o rtlan d to
spend th e w inter. She was born at
P le a sa n t Home in 1882 and had lived
th e re in her childhood.

dents of Gresham . Mr. S tea rn s has
