en t-T each er asso ciatio n w as held on
T uesday evening, w ith a good a tte n d ­
ance. Mrs. Woodle rep o rted th a t th e
hot lunches w hich w ere sta rte d th is
w inter at th e grad e school w ere going
along nicely and th a t about tw o -th lrd s
of th e pupils have been re g u la r a t th e
tab les in the dining room. P lan s will
be m ade to a rra n g e the affair on a d if­
feren t scale next year, so as to have
all th e pupils have th e benefit of a
w arm dish at noon. Mrs. Roy Em ily
has had ch arg e of th e lunches.
It w as decided to give an e n te rta in ­
m ent at Colum bian high school on F ri
day evening, M arch 19, for th e benefit
of th e Bram fam ily a t H u rlb u rt. It
w ill be given by th e ch ild ren of a ll the
schools in th is section. In v itatio n s
have been sent to S pringdale, H u rl­
b u rt. L ato u rell, Egypt. B ridal Veil and
C orbett grad e schools to tak e a part.
A sm all fee w ill be charg ed at th e
door, and all of th e proceeds w ill be
tu rn ed over to th e Bram building fund,
L illian P ost gave a read in g and Ju n e
W'oodle a piano solo in connection w ith
th e m eeting.
L aw rence A ndersen w ill play at the
L iberty th e ate r in P o rtlau d on Sunday
at noon in th e am ate u r contest.
