The G resham Service station, on the
m orning of Decem ber 1, disposed of
its business to D. D. S m ith of Spokane,
who im m ediately took possession.
W alrad & W right, who erected the
building and began th e business last
spring, still reta in th e ir tra n sfe r b u s­
iness and w ill also m aintain th e ir
G resham office h e a d q u a rte rs in the
service sta tio n here. About a m onth
ago they p urchased a new tw o and a
half ton F ederal dum p tru c k which,
m akes a to tal of four m achines in th eir
fleet. T he new ^ruck has a Staley
stdel body w ith h y draulic, underbody
hoist, specially b u ilt a t th e factory
w ith 170 horse pow er m otor. T his
m achine, as well as th e ir other tru ck s,
has been equipped w ith the G russ air
shock ab sorbers. T hey have also add­
ed a new tra ile r w ith a four-ton c a ­
pacity.

it a success.

"and I feel it an extrem ely tim ely duty
to send o u t caution notices th a t th e -
m oto rln g public m ay be cognizant of
these facts. If the m o to rists will only
he co n sid erate and cau tio u s In th e ir
w inter driving, I am su re th e accident
and propesty dam age p ercentage will
he g rea tly reduced in O regon.”
