Up to ¿he beginning of his illn ess live y ea rs ago, his tim e w as spent on th is farm . H is chief com m unity in te rest w as cen tered in th e M ethodist ch u rch of w hich he has been a faith fu l m em ber since his early m anhood. He w as a ch a ritab le neighbor, a kind and affectionate h u s band and fath er.
