son of Mr. and Mrs. A ndrew J. Stone,
of Rockwood, died w hile on a v aca­
tio n at B righton. Oregon, aged 12
y ears. 9 m onths and 25 days. H is ill­
ness w as very sh o rt, la stin g only a
day and a half, w hen th e conditions
re su ltin g from pneum onia overcam e
h is h e a rt and he q u ietly passed away.
H e w as born a t W oodland, W ashing­
ton, and cam e w ith h is p a re n ts to
Rockwood w hen he w as about a year
old. and th ey have since m ade th e ir
hom e in th a t locality w ith th e excep­
tion of a sh o rt tim e spent a t T he
D alles, Oregon. He is survived by his
p a re n ts and tw o b ro th ers, E a rl R us­
sell and A rchie L eonard. R eginald
w as a pupil in th e Rockwood grade
school w here he had m any friends.
T he fu n eral service w as conducted in
th e Rockwood M ethodist ch u rch by
th e Rev. J. S tanford Moore and in te r­
m ent w as m ade in D ouglas cem etery.
R eginald w as a m em ber of th e M eth­
o dist E piscopal ch u rc h a t Rockwood.
T he old aud ito riu m w as not sufficient­
ly la rg e to se a t th e m any friends in a t­
tendance and it w as n ecessary to use
th e new portion now u n d er c o n stru c ­
tion. T he neighbors of Mr. and Mrs.
S tone w ish to exp ress th e ir sym pathy
