ly bruised. Mrs. B arilow fell four or
five y ears ago an d h u rt h er knee bad ­
ly and since th a t tim e th e knee has
been in a w eakened condition, w hich
probably accounts for h er fall S a tu r­
day. She is th e d au g h ter of I. W.
B utler and a t p rese n t is a t th e home
of h er p aren ts.
Mary Hope Sm ith, aged four, has
ab o u t recovered from h er re c e n t o p er­
atio n w hich she u n d erw en t for th e re ­
m oval of to n sils and adenoids. Mrs.
D. H. Nash of G resham accom panied
th e child to h er hom e a fte r th e o p e ra ­
tion, w hich w as perform ed in a phy­
sician 's office in G resham .
