Mr. C rissey had been in poor health
for a n um ber of years. H e is s u r
vived by his wife, M aria C. Crissey,
th re e children, W. L., p ro p rie to r of the
G ladiolus farm , A ngennette, of P o rt
land, and E. F. C rissey, of St. Louis,
M issouri, also a sister, M argaret E.
C rissey, of D ecatur, Illinois.
Mr. C rissey w as a Civil W ar v et
e ra n , having served in Com pany I of
th e 68th regim ent of Illinois infantry.
He cam e to Oregon 15 y ears ago from
D ecatur, w here he w as one of th e
c h a rte r m em bers of G. A. R. P ost No.
1, of th a t city.
