son of I. K. H atfield of T ro u td ale, died
on Ju n e 1 a fte r a lin g erin g Illness
from B rig h t's disease and was buried
from th e com m unity ch u rch in T ro u t­
dale on last T uesday. H e w as 33
y ea rs of age. T he Rev. E. R. D. H ol-
len sted conducted th e service. B urial
w as in th e D ouglas cem etery.
Mr. H atfield is survived by his
fa th e r and two siste rs, Mrs. Odin A n­
d erso n of W arren , Oregon, and Mrs.
S tella Link of C latskanie. He w as e n ­
gaged to be m arried to Mrs. F lo ren ce I
H eine of G resham . T he w edding w as
to have tak en p lace la st fall b ut w as
postponed on acco u n t of his illness.
