stru ctio n of a new Bull R un pipe line.
The rig h t of way is being secured and
an o rd in an ce au th o rizin g a call for
bids, on th e co n stru ctio n has come be­
fore th e P o rtla n d city com m issioners
and w ill likely be passed next week.
T he estim ated cost of th e pipe line
is aro u n d th re e m illion d o llars, to be
covered by bond issue alread y a u th o r­
ized, and it w ill ta k e nearly tw o y ears
to b rin g it to com pletion. It w ill not
p ara llel closely th e old line, like the
one bu ilt in 1910 and 1911, b ut w ill be
