road west of G resham , died at E m an ­
uel hospital on W ednesday m orning.
May 9, follow ing a surgical operation.

shock to her fam ily and friends,

ters. Mr. and Mrs. Nels D ecker, par

S arah Middleton was born in In a ­
vale, N ebraska, July 28, 1899. She
cam e to Oregon with tier p a re n ts In
early childhood and grew to woman
hood in this com m unity. On S eptem ­
ber 22. 1917, she was m arried to Kil-
w ard Decker.
F u n eral services w ere conducted
y esterday at th e M ethodist E piscopal
ch u rc h In G resham by the pastor, the
Rev. A. S. lllaey. Beautiful flowers
a tte s te d th e love and sym pathy of a
la rg e circ le of friends. Music was
fu rn ish ed bv a q u arte t composed of
