The First State Bank, a member of the Federal Reserve System,
was established in 1905, has been continually under the same manage
ment, and has enjoyed a steady and natural growth from the begin
ning. During that time, in order to better sene its customers, it has
increased its Capital Stock three times. It has all the facilities of a
city bank, including that of investments, and at the same time has
made an exhaustive study of the wants and needs of its patrons,
thereby putting itself in a better position to sene the local people
than any city bank.
The above statement reflects the fact that it has spared no ef
forts to protect its depositors, using all of the safeguards thrown a-
round a city bank with much larger responsibilities.
The First State Bank appreciates the fact that it is due to the
unfailing loyalty of the people of this community, and the confi
dence they have reposed in its institution, that enables it to carry
as it does over ONE-HALF M ILLION DOLLARS DEPOSITS.
It is therefore Resolved, That we, the Officers and Employ
ees of First State Bank, extend
( C h r is t m a s
( G r e e t in g s
To our old friends, loyal and true; to our valued new friends,
and to those whose friendship we strive to deserve; we heartily wish
unmeasured happiness and good fortune throughout the coming years.
With grateful appreciation for all the favors received by us from
you, and for that priceless though intangible asset, your good-will,
which we prize beyond measure, we seek to merit your continued con
fidence, and aim to serve you helpfully in the future.
