day evening down on the banks of the
Sandy river. A number of guests
were also invited to spend the even
ing with them, which increased the
number to 20 young people. The ev
ening was spent in swimming and
playing games. A picnic supper was
served and a weenie roast was en
joyed later in the evening.
A silver tea was served at the home
of the hostess, Mrs. D. F. Powers to
the Methodist Ladles’ Aid on Thurs
day afternoon. The occasion was en
joyed by all.
Mrs. Dora Armock from California
is visiting relatives in Rockwood.
