mas. even the ch ild re n arc more o r less subdued a bo ut it. A b ou t a ll
we re a lly w a n t is to sec prices tu m b le a little more w h ile wages keep
up, b u t we feel th a t the level has about been reached fo r th is year, at
least.
Last year, I remember, there was a g lo rio us C hristm as d in n e r be
«»use so m any o f o u r boys were home again a fte r the w ar, and then
an evening o f fire lig h t and c a n d le lig h t in so many d iffe re n t homes.
