izers and Pests will be th e su b ject dis
cussed. On this day th e soils needs
of th e county will be considered and
th e different m eans of soil im prove
m ents such as. d rainage, fertilizers,
cover crops and th e ir use to p erm a
n en t ag ric u ltu re; also, th e problem
of control of o u r ro d en t pests, such as
moles, m ountain beaver and digger
sq u irrels will be discussed and plans
of erad icatio n outlined.
Tuesday, Ja n u a ry 11, will be Field
Crops Day. T he problem s which en
te r into th e grow ing of th e various
farm crops such as hay, g rain , p o ta
toes, corn, etc., will be given consid
eratio n both by local ta len t an d th e
best experts th a t can be secured.
They will be discussed from the
stan d p o in t of increasing th e produc
tion of b e tte r quality of crops.

Day. T his will be th e g en eral round
up day to r th e poultrym en a t which
tim e they will tak e up and discuss
w ith the poultry experts present, such
questions as feeding fo r production,
incubation, brooding and rea rin g of
chickens, culling and o th e r points of
in te re st to th e poultrym en such as
th e resu lts of cooperative m a rk e t
ing, etc.
