tension. T he m eeting was called to
discuss th e plan of building a play-
shed. It. discussing th e im provem ent
g en eral opinion seem ed to be In favor
of building a new schoolhouse in the
n ear fu tu re. It was considered th a t
th e playshed should w ait until a fte r
the schoolhouse was built. It was
also found th a t a playshed would cost
considerably m ore th an had as first
been estim ated.
T he reg u la r preaching services w ill
be held at th e M. E. church Sunday
m orning. T he topic of th e m orning
service will be “ God’s Love and
P ra y e r.” The services have been u n
usually in te restin g th e past few’ Sun
days. The Sunday school is show ing
a good deal of in te rest in the various
classes. At a recent m eeting of th e
Sunday school board it was decided to
aw ard th e atten d an ce b an n er to the
class having th e larg est percentage of
enrolled m em bers present.

su p p er and sale last Friday evening
was well atten d ed and a g en eral good
tim e was enjoyed.
A net sum of
$71.42 was realized from th e even
ing's efforts. The ladies wish to ex
tend th e ir th a n k s to th e com m unity
for th e ir assistance and co-operation.
