1% cups flour
44 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons Royal
Baking Powder
3 eggs
144 cups milk
1 tablespoon shortening
Mix and sift dry ingredi
ents; add beaten eggs,
milk and melted shorten
ing: m ix well. Bake Im
m ediately on hot griddle.
Waffles
S cups flour
4 teaspoons Royal
Baking Powder
44 teaspoon salt
1% cups milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon melted
shortening
Sift flour, baking pow
der and salt together; add
milk to yolks of eggs; mix
thoroughly and add to dry
Ingredients; add melted
shortening and mix In
beaten whites of eggs.
Bake in well-greased hot
waffle Iron until brown.
Serve hot with maple sy
rup. It should take about
144 m inutes to bake each
wattle.
