House, and by bow many votes he will

In o rd er to accom plish th is titan ic
task eig h t tho u san d R exall Drug
sto res In th e U nited S tates have been
desig n ated by th e U nited D rug com
pany, of Boston, as th e balloting
points. In each sto re a clerk has
been detailed to conduct th e ballot
and th u s in su re a su re an d fa ir test
to vote. T here will be no stuffing of
the ballot boxes, nor will th e re be
any repeating.

forthcom ing election Is th e w om en's
vote. In o rd er to accu rately com pute
th is vote, two b allot boxes have been

an Interchange of upw ards of 30,000
m essages, teleg rap h ic and telephonic,
will be necessary each day. Begin
ning O ctober 1, ann o u n cem en t will
be m ade daily of th e vote, and with
8000 d ru g stores to draw upon. It is
safe to say th a t m any m illion voter
will be cast and complied.

ducted only n in e days in all the
stores, yet several m illion votes were
cast and five days before election th e
figures were announced.

d en t Wilson had been re-elected by a

would carry C alifornia and also New
H am pshire, an announcem ent which
b ro u g h t Indignant denials from those
opposed to him. W hen th e total vote |

vem ber election, they differed from
th e actu al figures less th an one-half
