Elaborate Plans for Fourth at Gresham
PARADE—9:30 A. M.
The parade will be the first feature of the celebration.
The buainenH men have been invited to enter a float represent­
ing Business. There will be a prize for the best decorated float.
The Women’s League are to enter a float, and <aeh neigh­
borhood will be invited to ••liter the contest with a float rep­
resenting their own district. Prizes will be awarded them.
There will be a vehicle and automobile section with a prize
for the best of each.
The Calathum pian band will be a great feature.
The Pleasant Home band will lead the march.
BASEBALL— 10:00 A. M.
The Gresham Athletes will play the Damascus team at the
Gresham baseball park. Both teams have defeated some of
the fast Portland teams and a fast game is expected. A purse
of $20 will be awarded the winning team.
