People would look in the w indow, then hunt through their purses for a quarter and then go inside and buy an en v el­ ope. T hat gold watch was the m ag­ net that drew the people and then caused them to part with their m oney; but If they w ere disappointed because they failed to get the watch they were sure to get value received, and it was not until nearly 200 en­ velopes had been opened that the watch was finally won by Jackson ..
