Boom!
There are some things
you just don’t do…like let
a two-year-old run around
with scissors, give your
car keys to your inebriated
neighbor, or let a country
that wants to annihilate you
have a nuke. Just not smart.
So, I am very grate-
ful for a president with
the guts to do what others
should have done. The effi-
cacy of the mission to take
out Iran’s nuke capabili-
ty was phenomenal, and
I believe God-directed.
I’m also thankful for the
support President Trump
has shown Israel. It’s the
right thing to do (Genesis
12:3). He showed some
excellent strategy in deal-
ing with Iran. So much for
the “Trump is delusional”
mantra. But you can be sure
the Left will be hurling the
hate…“Hitler! Warmon-
ger!”
News flash: Stopping
a bully doesn’t make you a
bully. It makes you a hero.
Trump gave Iran some
options for peace. They
declined. They also made
it pretty clear they aren’t
looking for peaceful solu-
tions. They’ve been stirring
the Middle Eastern pot for
decades. Destruction by
Proxy has been their meth-
od. Just give your dirty jobs
to others and then claim
your innocence. The hatred
goes deep. Their quest for
the destruction of “Little
Satan” is just hors d’oeu-
vres. Next on the menu
is the main course…The
Great Satan (America).
So now we have known
terrorists in our country just
waiting for their cue (pagers
in hand). Thanks a bunch,
Biden. I’m sure the billions
you made available to them
have been a big help. Can
you imagine him running
the show right now?
“Here’s a couple more
billion. Gotta keep that
oil flowing (anywhere but
America). Nuke? Nah…it’s
all good.”
I’m pretty thankful for
those last election results.
I’m also thankful for the
cabinet Trump chose. Great
leaders are making the job
way easier, to the chagrin
of the Left. The more he
accomplishes, the more ri-
diculous their criticism. The
whole “No Kings!” thing is
laughable…and the height
of hypocrisy. They want no
authority, no laws, no re-
straint… unless they say so,
of course. Then they’ll take
away your guns, gas stoves
and “gas-guzzling” cars…
oh…and your Bibles. Can’t
have any of this God talk…
might shine the light on the
evil they excuse. Oh, and
just to clarify…Yes, when
we have been threatened by
another country (“Death to
America!”), our Command-
er in Chief can and should
make decisions concerning
the defense of our country.
Any congressman who tries
to stop him is a traitor.
So, what now? I’m
guessing the rest of the
world is still trying to digest
what’s happened…while
taking Trump a little more
seriously. If you know Bib-
lical prophecy, you know
that, at some point, Iran,
Turkey, Russia, Libya and
Sudan will join up to attack
Israel. But God will stop
them in their tracks (Ezekiel
38). As we watch prophecy
unfold, and in the light of
our current situation, it
would be good to consider
this; since about 2,000 of
the 2,500 Biblical proph-
ecies have already been
fulfilled, we might want to
pay attention to the rest of
what the Bible has to say.
It’s life-saving.
“For there is one God
and one mediator between
God and mankind, the man
Christ Jesus, who gave
himself as a ransom for all
people” 1 Timothy 2:5.

Ten ladies teed off un-
der beautiful weather con-
ditions for a spirited round
of golf at Willow Creek
Country Club on Tuesday,
June 17, during the weekly
ladies’ play day.
Pat Dougherty led the
field with the low gross
score, while Betty Carter
secured the low net of the
field. Karen Smith-Griffith
earned accolades for having
the least putts on the day.
Flight A Results: Tif-
fany Clement claimed low
gross honors. Corol Mitch-
ell finished with low net,
and Pat Dougherty also
took home the long drive
title.
Flight B Results: Shir-
ley Martin recorded the
low gross. Kris Lindner
earned low net, Sharon
Harrison had the least putts,
Colleen Neubert hit the
longest drive, and Karen
Smith-Griffith was closest
to the pin (KP).
