came alive with excitement
recently as it hosted its an-
nual pine derby race. This
year’s race featured a fresh
twist thanks to a brand-new
track, made possible by a
generous grant from the
Ione Education Foundation.
The shiny new track
process of designing and
cutting out their derby cars.
The event culminated
in a series of exciting races,
with cars zipping down the
track to cheers from friends
and families. The top win-
ners were recognized for
their craftsmanship, speed
and sportsmanship.
