Glennave Annel
Gibbs Arriaga
Glennave Annel Gibbs
Arriaga was with her
family when she passed
away peacefully in Boise,
Idaho on March 3, 2024.
She was born to Fred and
Thora Rose Land Gibbs
on October 8, 1939, in
Joseph, Oregon. Glennave
was raised in Joseph. Glen-
nave married Alvin Tippett
and to that union, three
children were born. Their
children, Rick, Shelly, and
Bill were also raised in Jo-
seph. Later they divorced,
and she married John Ar-
riaga and they moved to
Alaska. After John passed
away, Glennave moved
to Heppner in 2004. She
volunteered at the Neigh-
borhood Center and was
a housekeeper for many
years. She helped keep
people organized and clean!
Glennave knew how to get

furniture! Her clients were
always happy to see her
come, and she treated her
clients like family. Her own
home was spotless inside
and out! She was not only
DQH൶FLHQWZRUNHUEXWIDVW
too! She continued working
right up to February 2024.
She loved cooking and
baking and excelled at both
of those! She made special
goodie boxes for her grand-
children and sent them
several times a year. She
loved working in her yard
and was proud to receive
yard of the month last year.
She is survived by two
sisters, Janice Skaggs,
and Deva Duke. She also
leaves behind a daugh-
ter, Shelly Tippett, and
a son, Rick Tippet. She
was preceded in death by
her son, Bill Tippett. She
loved and cherished her
nieces, nephews, children,
grandchildren, and family
immensely, and they loved
her with that same strength
and passion. If you would
