TWELVE--Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, June 14, 2023 Sheriff’s Report December 3, 2022— -At 10:37 p.m. a female at SE Park Place in Irrigon advised that her neighbor was operating loud machin- ery and asked that they be contacted and asked to do it in the daylight hours. -Boardman ambulance received a call from Lamb Weston East Plant in Board- man advising they had a male with chest pain and shortness of breath. Patient was transported. -Boardman PD re- sponded to a 911 call in which dispatch heard a female and male yelling in Spanish. BPD arrested Rosendo Reymundo Men- dez for Harassment-Do- mestic Violence. Subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail without bail. -A male in Boardman asked police to go to his residence because he was at work, but his siblings contacted him and wanted him to go home because hie parents were arguing. A sergeant responded and determined it was nothing physical. -Lexington Fire and Heppner Ambulance re- sponded to an 83-year-old female in Lexington who was having trouble breath- ing and trouble walking. Patient was transported to Pioneer Memorial. -Heppner Ambulance responded to a juvenile with a neck injury at Heppner High School. Patient was transported. -Irrigon ambulance and fire provided mutual aid for an 80-year-old female in Hermiston who had fallen. Patient was transported to Good Shepherd. Disturbance occurred at Riverview Mobile court on E Highway 730, in Irrigon RP advised that her boyfriend is not letting her leave. MCSO responded RP was able to leave and did not want contact from Deputy at this time. -Suicidal subject at Irrigon Marina on NE Seventh Street, in Irrigon male feeling suicidal he is walking to the Irrigon Marina. Deputy responded. -Dog complaint occurred at Ronnie Main’s residence on SE Kristen Drive in Irrigon, brown puppy mix on Kristen Drive off Division. Animal picked up. -Dog complaint on Highway 207 Echo, in Lexington. 2 big white dogs are out by their residence UTL. -Harassment occurred on SE Thirteenth Street in Irrigon. RP would like to speak to a deputy regarding harassing her by phone. Deputy responded. Under investigation. -IRRA, BFD, BPD and MCSO responded to Mike Nelson residence on Kunze Lane in Boardman RP request for EMS f o r 5 9 - y e a r- o l d m a l e c/b, incoherent, unable to talk. Patient refused transportation. -Animal complaint on Highway 74 Lena in Heppner. RP advised she almost hit a black cow in the road. A few miles up there was another cow and calf. UTL -Suspicious activity at Irrigon Shell on E Highway 730 RP advised of suspicious subjects in the store. Deputy responded UTL. -Noise complaint at SE Park Pl, in Irrigon. RP advised that her neighbor at 211 is operating loud machinery. Requested they be contacted and asked to do that in the daylight hours. Deputy responded. -Boardman ambulance responded to Lamb Weston East Plant on Columbia Ave NE in Boardman. Adult male with chest pain and shortness of breath. Transported. -911 Hangup occurred in Anderson Road in Boardman. Female and male yelling in Spanish. Mendez, Rosendo Reymundo was arrested by BPD for Harrassment/DV lodged at UCJ no bail. -Animal complaint at Columbia Ave NE/Laurel Ln in Boardman found a freezing duck on the road not sure what to with it. -Disturbance on Mount Hood Ave in Boardman RP would like police to go to his residence. He is at work, but his siblings contacted him and wanted him to come home because. Nothing physical. Disposition completed. -Noise complaint occurred at Port View Apartments on Columbia Ave NE in Boardman. RP advised his neighbors in 309D are playing loud music. It is a reoccurring issue. December 4, 2022— Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a roll- over motor vehicle accident with a vehicle facing the wrong way with its hazards flashing on 730 westbound. Patient refused transport. ODOT and Oregon State Police were advised. -MCSO was advised that Lynn County Sher- iff’s Office arrested Eugene Conrad Machado on a Mor- row County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving under the influence and reckless driving, as well as other county warrants. Subject was lodged at Lynn County Jail with transport pending. -MCSO, Boardman Ambulance and Boardman Fire responded to a rollover on I-84 West in Boardman, a pickup with a U-Haul trailer. OSP took over the scene. -MCSO, BAMB and BFD responded to a pickup versus semi motor vehicle accident at Tower Rd. and I-84 in Boardman, non-in- jury, non-blocking. -Dispatch received a call regarding a passenger car on I-84 West, Board- man, that slid off the road and hit the wire fencing. Boardman Fire and Board- man Ambulance responded and OSP was advised. -A woman in Irrigon advised there were black and red cows in her yard, all with blue ear tags. She advised they belonged in the residence right in front of her property. -A person at Stor-4-U Mini Storage in Heppner requested contact regarding unauthorized use of a motor vehicle from a storage unit. -A male on Utah in Ir- rigon reported a black SUV circling around the street. The caller thought it was suspicious because it had passed by his house four times already. -MCSO was advised of a jack-knifed semi blocking the westbound lane on Hwy. 730. -MCSO, Irrigon Am- bulance and Irrigon Fire re- sponded to a rollover pick- up with entrapment. Patient refused transport and OSP took over the scene. -MCSO was advised of a semi truck that lost a front wheel and was off the side of the road on I-84, Board- man. OSP handled the call. -MCSO was advised of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on I-84 West in Boardman. Several people were in the vehicle. Board- man Fire and Boardman Ambulance also responded. -Irrigon Ambulance and Irrigon Fire responded to a van that slid off the road and head-on into a tree on Hwy. 730. Patient refused transport. -MCSO was advised of a white Buick that slid off I-84 West in Boardman. -MCSO initiated con- tact with a small black SUV car that slid off on the center median of I-84, Boardman. A male a female in the car did not appear to be injured and it did not look like there was any damage. When the deputy went back to check, the vehicle was gone. -A female reported to MCSO that her son was missing. His last known location was in Heppner. -MCSO received re- port of a jack-knifed semi blocking the slow lane and shoulder on I-84, Board- man. Vehicles could get around it but there were no lights, flares or triangles out. Dispatch also received calls reporting other semi accidents, one blocking the slow lane, one in the medi- an and possibly another one overturned. -A caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked behind Jordan Elevator on Hwy. 74, Ione. It had been there all day and was de- scribed as a small car with the headlights and taillights on. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the vehicle. -A semi ran into the fuel sign at Love’s Travel Stop in Boardman. Traffic was backing up along Tow- er Road, blocking the area. No known injuries, but the truck was stuck. -Boardman PD was advised of a white male in his late 20s at Boardman Sinclair station wearing cargo pants, hoodie and beanie. He was making people uncomfortable at the Sinclair, asking for rides to Hermiston, and appeared to be intoxicated. BPD ar- rested Billy Joe Baker on a State Parole Board warrant and the subject was lodged at Umatilla County Jail with no bail. December 5, 2022— Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a single vehicle rollover on Hwy. 730, Boardman. The car looked like it was flipped with lights still on. -A male on Utah in Irrigon complained that a black Scion with a female driver nearly hit him as he was crossing the street. He advised that she was driving too fast for road conditions. -A male in Irrigon ad- vised that his neighbor’s dog got out and was on his property. The dogs, described as a rottweiler and a German shepherd, were over by the horses, and it was an ongoing is- sue. MCSO cited Miguel Torres for Dog at Large x2, to appear at Irrigon Justice Court. -MCSO was advised that a female juvenile wear- ing a tie-dye sweatshirt was pulling a male juvenile on a sled on Hwy. 730 in Irrigon. Vehicles were having to move around them, causing about a 10-minute delay. Deputies were unable to locate the juveniles. -MCSO received a complaint of kids doing cookies in the parking lot of Irrigon High School. The caller stated that they had been asked to stop but were continuing. -A female in Heppner advised that a FedEx truck attempted to turn around and slid into part of her yard, causing some dam- age. The caller requested contact. -A caller in Irrigon ad- vised there was a red horse running around. Caller was unsure who it belonged to and was requesting contact. -A male in Irrigon ad- vised he was involved in a minor motor vehicle acci- dent. The other driver slid 177 N. Main P.O. Both parties were at the scene and there were no injuries; he just wanted to make a report. -A female in Board- man advised that she slid and hit a pole. She was not injured but it was possibly blocking. -A male in Irrigon ad- vised he met up with a contractor he had hired yesterday in the city hall parking lot. He advised the conversation escalated and the other male yelled at him. He tried to get video footage from city hall, but they advised him he needed to contact MCSO. A deputy made contact and deter- mined there was nothing criminal. -A caller on Utah in Irrigon reported that a Jeep Cherokee was towing someone behind them with a rope. A deputy responded and located the vehicle and gave the driver a warning for towing people. -A male in Heppner requested phone contact regarding a harassment/ stalking issue he was hav- ing with a tenant. A deputy made contact with both par- ties and determined there was no crime at the time. -Boardman fire and Boardman ambulance re- sponded to a 74-year-old female in Boardman who fell and had a broken hip. -A male in Boardman advised he had found a black female chihuahua puppy and would like it picked up. The dog was transported to Hermiston Vet. -An 83-year-old male in Lexington fell down and hit his head. Lexington Quick Response and Hep- pner Ambulance respond- ed but the patient refused transport. December 7, 2022— Morrow County Sheriff’s Office reported driving a behavioral health transport from Umatilla County Jail to Oregon State Hospital. -MCSO was advised of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Ione-Gooseber- ry. It was non-injury and both vehicles were off the road. -MCSO received report of a burglary that occurred over a month ago at Uma- tilla Army Depot. The call was originally reported to Umatilla Co. Sheriff’s Office, but the scene was actually in Morrow County. There was construction on the depot and one of the Conex trailers was broken into and items stolen. The caller advised he was avail- able for contact. -A caller in Irrigon ad- vised there were five steers in the yard, all tagged. The caller said they were con- cerned since they were so close to the highway. -A caller in Irrigon advised she would like to speak with a deputy regarding her sister and a drug issue. The caller was in front of Irrigon Justice Court for contact. -A caller in the Butter Creek area advised a male had been making suicidal threats. She was requesting a welfare check since he had also been threatening her daughter. -MCSO was advised of a female in Irrigon who was feeling suicidal and having a hard time. MCSO made contact, and Community Counseling Solutions will be in contact. -A male advised that a couple of days ago his girlfriend had hit him and has been verbally and phys- ically abusive. He requested contact to press charges. He advised he was currently in Washington but that the incident had occurred in Ir- rigon, and he was available by phone. -A caller in Irrigon ad- vised her sister was high, possibly on meth, and caus- ing a disturbance. MCSO responded and determined there was no crime but gave the female a courtesy ride. December 8, 2022— Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 74, Ione. -MCSO received report of a distraught female at the front door of Irrigon Elementary School, asking to go in. -MCSO reported being out with two males at Har- vest Foods in Boardman. They hit a rock and the ve- hicle was stuck. Boardman PD responded and every- thing was cleared. -A male in Ione report- ed his car trailer was stolen from his property. He didn’t know when it was taken but had last seen it two weeks ago. -A female in Heppner advised that she was getting harassed by her neighbor. She stated that he kept staring at her windows and there is a crawl space in the house that she thinks he’s trying to get through. -A female in Irrigon advised her dad called her twice and there was not talking but she could hear rustling. She was concerned because lived alone with a cane and she was afraid he was hurt. The female then called back and advised she made contact with her dad and everything was okay. -An MCSO deputy ini- tiated activity at Pettyjohn’s in Heppner, where a gate was unlocked outside of business hours. MCSO locked the gate.
