tab. Entry forms are also
available from Heppner
City Hall or the chamber
of commerce. Anyone who
doesn’t get a chance to reg-
ister beforehand can sign up
the day of the event.
Games begin on Satur-
day, March 18. The Welly
Toss team competitions
are held on Willow Street
from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..
The children and individual
competitions will be held
from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. Prizes will be awarded
for the top two teams and
two highest finishers in the
individual men’s and wom-
en’s categories. Children
will receive a gold coin for
participating.
The bed race team relay
will start and end at the
Main Street shamrock, and
teams are asked to be at
their beds between Heppner
Market Fresh and St. Pat’s
Senior Center by 11:15 a.m.
The race will start immedi-
ately after the Leprechaun
Run. There will be prizes
for two teams and a koozie
for all who participate.
The O’ Planky team
relay will also start and
end at the shamrock, and
teams are asked to be at the
CenturyLink truck between
Heppner Market Fresh and
the senior center by 11:30
a.m. The O’ Planky will
start immediately after the
bed races. There will be
prizes for the top two teams
and a koozie for all who
participate.
Road Bowling will
wrap up the weekend on
Sunday, March 19. Regis-
tration will begin at 12:45
p.m. with the competi-
tion starting at 1 p.m. The
event will be held on Balm
Fork Road. The cost is
$20 a team, and the top
three teams get cash to split
among themselves.
