Sheriff’s Report
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information:
May 2: Morrow Coun-
ty Sheriff’s Office received
a report on W Oregon Ln,
Irrigon that caller heard
shots in the area. Unknown
where they came from,
7-10 shots. Caller believes
it was a handgun. Unable
to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port at S First St/SE Califor-
nia Ave, Irrigon that units
are out with an individual
and vehicle involved with
UPD shooting.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
that a Honda Accord is
swerving all over the road.
Referred to other agency.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
that there is a large piece of
wood in the middle of the
left lane of travel. Caller
nearly hit it. Referred to
other agency.
-MCSO received a
report at E Hwy 730/SE
Seventh St., Irrigon of a dis-
abled motorcycle. MCSO
checked, they have help
coming.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Utah Ave, Ir-
rigon that a gray Honda
Passport is moving at a high
rate of speed toward Tenth.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Utah Ave, Ir-
rigon that a gray Dodge
Caravan is moving at a high
rate of speed toward Tenth.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Utah Ave, Ir-
rigon that a silver Dodge
Caravan flew past his house
and through the stop sign on
Seventh and Utah.
-MCSO received a re-
port on NE Court St, Hep-
pner that a male is sitting
with a backpack on the
sidewalk in front of the
residence, keeps drinking
something. Unable to lo-
cate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on E Third St, Ione
that caller is requesting a
deputy file a report about
somebody taking his ve-
hicle within the last week.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I84 E, Boardman
that a vehicle in front of
them has flashers going off
in vehicle intermittently
like it may be an alarm.
Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Riverview Mobile
Court on E Hwy 730, Ir-
rigon that caller advised
his wife is making threats
toward him and attempting
to damage his vehicle. Call-
er states that it’s an ongoing
issue. Civil issue.
-MCSO received a re-
port on E Hwy 730, Irrigon
of an injured baby owl on
the side of the road.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Utah that a dark
gray Chrysler 300 came off
Eighth and rolled through
the several stop signs on
Utah. Unable to locate.
May 4: Morrow Coun-
ty Sheriff’s Office received
a report on SE Utah Ave,
Irrigon that a white Dodge
pickup dually with a trailer
and a lawn mower in the
back is going at a high
rate of speed down Utah.
Advised the driver nearly
clipped the caller with his
mirror.
-MCSO received a
report at Willow Creek
Country Club on Hwy 74,
Heppner that there is a short
dark haired female walking
on the highway acting er-
ratically (talking to herself)
and jumping in and out of
traffic. MCSO responded.
Female was given a cour-
tesy ride to Heppner.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84W, Boardman
that OSP has been trying
to overtake a black motor-
cycle with green graphics
since North Powder, cur-
rently just blew past mp 210
on I 84. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Utah Ave, Irri-
gon that a gray GMC SUV
went past caller’s house
with loud music at a high
rate of speed.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
that a male is pulled over
halfway in the lane on the
side of the road urinating.
Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on Hwy 74 Lena, Hep-
pner a loose black angus is
grazing on the side of the
road. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Dollar General on
N Main St, Heppner that in-
dividual is hanging around
behind the building.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
of a rollover MVA.
May 7: Morrow Coun-
ty Sheriff’s Office received
a report on Hwy 730, Irri-
gon that a vehicle is driving
erratically, passed in a no
passing zone, pulled over
and threw a bottle at caller.
Referred to other agency.
-MCSO received a re-
port on NW Church St,
Heppner of a property line
dispute with neighbor. The
neighbor took out fencing
and material. There was
yelling, so caller and her
husband left.
-MCSO received a
report on Magic Garden
Lane, Irrigon caller advised
they have a dog at their
house that jumped out of
the back of a pickup, driver
didn’t notice. Caller called
bac, dog owner returned to
the area and was reunited
with their dog.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 E, Boardman
that a gold Lexus is failing
to maintain lane, headed
eastbound.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Wagon Wheel Loop,
Irrigon of a loose goat.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
that a silver Mitsubishi
SUV is not maintaining
lane, turned on its hazards
and is pulled over near the
175. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on Se Utah Ave, Irrigon
that a white Chevy pickup
went past caller’s residence
at approx.. 45-50 mph. Un-
able to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on Kunze Ln, Board-
man that west of his resi-
dence there is someone that
is playing music too loud.
-MCSO received a
report on SE Utah Ave,
Irrigon that a white Ford
F150 came from Tenth and
sped down toward Seventh,
then a couple seconds later
a dark pickup sped down
toward Tenth. Unable to
locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
that a silver Lexus with WA
plate is driving at varying
speeds and nearly ran caller
off the roadway.

June 9: MCSO re-
ceived report of a gray SUV
going 45 mph. on I-84 and
swerving, possibly nodding
off. MCSO responded and
said that no traffic viola-
tions were observed.
-MCSO received report
of a grass fire on Baker
Lane in Ione. They reported
that a power line down by
the house sparked the fire.
-MCSO received report
from a subject on I-82 West
in Umatilla who advised
that he was on the Wash-
ington side a couple miles
from the bridge when he
was side-swiped by another
vehicle that continued on.
The caller declined medical
assistance and advised he
was parked safely on the
shoulder. The incident was
referred to another agency.
-MCSO received report
from a subject on Columbia
Lane in Irrigon who says
she is being “telephonically
harassed” by a female in
Umatilla who trespassed
them.
-MCSO received report
of a trespass at Green Acres
on Paterson Ferry Rd. in
Irrigon. The caller said
that a male was refusing to
leave his residence and was
at the manager’s space and
a female was still outside
the residence. The female
was trespassed from the
residence.
-MCSO received report
from a subject who said he
found three Cocker Spaniel
puppies on the side of the
road in Irrigon and suspect-
ed that they were dumped.
He said the puppies showed
signs of neglect and ear
infections and reported it in
case anyone reported them
missing.
-MCSO received report
of three Hispanic males
walking up to a residence
and looking suspicious.
MCSO and Boardman Po-
lice checked the area but
were unable to locate any-
one.
-MCSO received report
of a gray two-door Pontiac
G-6 speeding toward 10 th on
S.E. Utah Ave. in Irrigon. A
deputy was advised but was
out of position.
-MCSO received report
of a dog problem on S.W.
Second St. in Irrigon. The
caller said a deputy told her
to call when the neighbor’s
dogs were loose. A deputy
responded and scheduled
incidents were set.

was turning himself into the
Marion County Jail. Music
was arrested for Failure to
Appear/Unlawful use of
a weapon, menacing and
criminal mischief II. Music
was cited and released due
to medical issues.
-MCSO received report
of a gray Toyota 4-Funner
being driven recklessly on
I-84 Boardman.
-MCSO received report
of a small plane that had
made an emergency landing
in the Umatilla National
Wildlife Refuse, Riverview
Lane in Irrigon.
-MCSO received re-
port from a subject on S.E.
Matlock St. in Heppner
who said her neighbor was
parking in the wrong place
again.
-MCSO received report
of seven units broken into at
the Irrigon Mini storage on
East Hwy. 730.
-MCSO received report
of a small black kitten on
Parkside Rd. in Boardman
that looked in bad shape.
-MCSO received re-
quest for extra patrol at
Fuller Canyon Lane/Stock
Drive in Heppner concern-
ing reports of electric pole
insulators being shot at that
location.
-MCSO received report
of a juvenile wearing a di-
aper and a blue and white
striped tank top, approxi-
mately one or two.
-MCSO received re-
quest to speak to a deputy
from a subject on N.W.
Church St. in Heppner re-
garding harassment.
-MCSO received re-
port that St. Helens Police
Department arrested Jose
Manuel Longoria, Jr. on
a Morrow County Parole
and Probation detainer for
a parole violation for being
a felon in possession of
a firearm, as well as lo-
cal charges. Longoria was
lodged at Columbia County
Jail with no bail.
-MCSO received a re-
quest for extra patrol on
Columbia Lane in Irrigon.
The caller said there was a
suspicious dark-colored van
parked in front of her house
with three males inside, and
it wasn’t the first time. She
requested extra patrols in
the evening.
-MCSO received a re-
quest for extra patrol for
suspicious people walk-
ing around her property at
night on Eastregaard Rd. in
Boardman.

June 10: A caller ad-
vised that his mother was
having a psychotic break
and he jumped out of her
car, a red Dodge Neon
heading east. He said he
needed to speak to an of-
ficer.
-MCSO received re-
quest for extra patrol for
a residence on Sky View
Drive in Boardman, with
people coming onto their
front porch early in the
mornings. MCSO respond-
ed and everything was clear.
-MCSO received report
that a deputy was out with
a vehicle on the Benton
County side of McNary
Dam that had bullet holes
in it and the back window
smashed in. A deputy re-
sponded and contacted the
registered owner who said
he did not know how the
damage occurred and was
put in contact with Benton
County.
-MCSO received report
of puppies found at Java
Junkies on Highway 730,
Irrigon. The puppies were
transported to Pet Rescue.
-MCSO received report
from a Heppner resident
who said someone backed
over his bank. He wanted
to make an incident report
to the city. A deputy made
contact.
-MCSO received a re-
quest from Good Shepherd
Hospital to contact Com-
munity Counseling Solu-
tions regarding a mental
health subject. CCS was
advised.
-MCSO received report
of a mid-80s white Ford
van that sat in front of the
caller’s property on Wash-
ington Lane in Irrigon for
20 minutes. When the caller
drove down the driveway
to see who they were, they
drove away. She was con-
cerned about her children
out playing in the yard.
MCSO responded, but was
unable to locate anyone.
-MCSO received report
of three males who were
loitering in front of the
Bank of Eastern Oregon
on S. First St. in Irrigon
for about five minutes act-
ing suspicious. One of the
males was wearing a black
T-shirt, had messy blonde
hair and tall boots. MCSO
responded and determined
it was an employee’s son
and friends waiting for a
ride.
-MCSO received a re-
quest for assistance from
Community Counseling
Solutions going out to Pa-
terson Ferry Rd. in Irrigon
