Heppner holds annual Christmas events
The Heppner Chamber of Commerce, along with area businesses and churches, held events almost daily for the Christmas season. Events included a painting party at the
Heppner Christian Church, an Artifactory Bazaar sponsored by Heppner Daycare and a scavenger hunt “Searching for Christ in Christmas” sponsored by Pioneer Memorial
Home Health and Hospice which included presentations at area churches.
Flood Town Books hosted Christmas Trivia Night and their Merry Grinchmas party and Murray’s Drug held their annual wine and design event. December 16 was the
night to redeem rewards cards, enjoy the all ages coloring contest, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and pick up some treats from the Parent-Teacher Club bake sale at the chamber
sponsored Celebrate Heppner Christmas event held at the fairgrounds.
The next weekend brought The Polar Express at the Sage Clothing event center, sponsored by Sage Clothing, Breaking Grounds Coffee and Wheatland Insurance. Then
on Saturday, December 18 the Christmas Light parade and a snowball drop were sponsored by the Heppner Outreach Council. Home decorating contests took place in the
city limits of Heppner as well.
