The Heppner boys’
wrestling team competed
Friday and Saturday at the
Culver Invitational, a twen-
ty-three team tournament.
The Mustangs boys finished
ninth despite only having
six wrestlers competing.
In the girls’ tourna-
ment, both Heppner wres-
tlers finished third in their
individual weight class and
the team finished eight out
of seventeen teams. Kylie
Boor, competing in the 128-
136 lb. bracket, earned a
third place with a 2-1 record
for the day, then lost the
wrestle back for the second
place match. Kylie Holden,
competing in the 132-141
lb. bracket, also earned a
third place with a 2-1 record
for the day, winning by pin
in her two wins.
On the boys’ team,
Roen Waite (120 lbs.), Zach
Brown (126 lbs.), Saul Lo-
pez (145 lbs.), Tyler Boor
(160 lbs.), Conor Brosnan
(182 lbs.) and Cade Cun-
ningham (195 lbs.) compet-
ed for the Mustangs. Every
Heppner wrestler won at
least two matches in their
respective weight class.

Morrow County Dis-
trict Attorney Justin Nelson
has released the following

- Anna Marie Helen

- Clinton Raymond
Downs was convicted of
assault in the third degree,

a driver and animal abuse in
the first degree and was sen-
tenced to 30 months prison,
three years of post-prison
supervision and five year
license suspension after
release.
- Trevor Bien was con-
victed of criminal mischief
in the first degree and sen-
tenced to 24 months formal
supervision, 40 hours of
community service work,

recommended treatment,
no use of alcohol while
on probation and mental
health evaluation and com-
ply with any recommended
treatment.

Heppner TSA places at
regional event

passed 52-3 in the House
and 26-2 in the Senate.
Both bills are headed to
the Governor’s desk for
consideration.
