Memorial golf tournament held Brosnans earn yard of the
month
The second annual Fa-
ther Condon Memorial golf
tournament was held at Wil-
low Creek Country Club in
Heppner Saturday, August
28. The tournament raised
money for the Holy Name
scholarship fund.
Thirty-eight golfers
participated this year to
honor Father Condon, who
was an avid golfer. Golfers
raised their glasses in a
toast to Fr. Condon prior
to teeing off. Many local
businesses donated prizes
and money to the event,
which was organized by
St. William parishioners
Mark McElligott and Jim
Swanson.
The brunch for golfers
was prepared by St. Patrick
altar society members Mary
Haguewood and Karen
