Winter dumps snow across south county this week
Photographer Tylynn Cimmiyotti added this comment for this photo, “Yesterday I was motivated by Aaron, Meredith Walters’ son, to climb the hill behind my house to recreate a photo
inspired by a historic, snowy photo of Heppner taken in February of 1929. After getting permission from the landowner to hike his property, I was fortunate enough to capture one of my
most favorite photographs of my most favorite little town nestled in the snowy valley.”

begins to melt on Monday.
