In August the Neigh-
borhood Center helped feed
74 families in need in our
community. In addition,
two families were provid-
ed emergency electrici-
ty assistance; one family
was provided with emer-
gency water assistance;
one family was provided
emergency rent assistance;
two families in need came
in for household items (a
crock pot, kitchen utensils,
dishes, etc.) that they could
not afford so the center
gifted them the items; and
two families in need were
gifted emergency clothing
when they could not afford
it for themselves and their
children (which consists of
three outfits per individual
and shoes).
The center also reported
that a new volunteer signed
up to work two mornings
each week and has been a
great addition to the regular
six volunteers who come
in and help throughout the
week. “We are very grateful
for our volunteers,” report-
ed Lisa Patton.
The Food Pantry will
be undergoing much needed
renovations with new paint
and safer/stronger shelving.
The Neighborhood
Center will be having a
Dollar Sale where much of
our merchandise is marked
down to $1 to make way
for the holiday inventory
that will be displayed in
the store.

Governor and press are by smoky skies

responsible
To the editor,
The Antifa and BLM
arsonists that have attempt-
ed to burn Portland to the
ground have been released
with no fines or conse-
quence by Portland’s ul-
tra-liberal D.A. Western
Oregon from north to south
is now on fire with multiple
documented accounts of
arson. As usual the liberal
press, media and Governor
Brown are covering and
protecting these anarchists
that want to burn Oregon to
the ground. That means this
Governor and the liberal
press are responsible and
accountable for every house
burned down, all damages
and every death.
Nevertheless: what
would cause an American
citizen, born and educated
in our school system and
culture, to act with such
malice toward their fellow
American and our way of
life?
The answer is not a
pleasant pill to swallow.
Our schools and univer-
sities teach our children
America’s heritage is fun-
damentally racist. Our
youth from early education
to master’s degrees are
taught our founding fathers,
that birthed America with
their sacrifice, sacred honor
and blood, were bigots and
racists. They have been
taught the God of our fore-
fathers, the one we have
expelled from our schools,
our government and our
culture, must be erased
along with every heritage
of the nation they birthed.
Any voice that attempts to
share the blessings and truth
of God’s word, the moral
imperative of honoring
the Ten Commandments
and corporate prayer has
been systematically cen-
sored, denied and silenced
in our American education
system. The truth of our
moral Christian heritage
has been erased, denigrated
and changed. Our youth
now are watching our sports
heroes idolize Jacob Blake,
an acknowledged rapist and
thief, and George Floyd, a
drug addict and four-time
felon. Do not allow your
children to be brainwashed
by these phony sports he-
roes. Turn off all sports that
glorify the false idols of
BLM. Do you want to see
your children turn against
America and see our home-
land burn to the ground?
Boycott any sponsor of
those that support the false
Gods of BLM.
The second President
of the U.S.A., John Ad-
ams, rightly proclaimed
the American Republic
could only be sustained by
a moral and virtuous na-
tion of American citizens.
America is in peril today
because the church of Jesus
Christ has not demonstrat-
ed the virtue or integrity
required to make the cou-
rageous decisions necessary
to sustain our blessings and
covenant protections of
the Almighty God of our
forefathers. Where was the
church leadership when
America acquiesced to al-
lowing prayer, the Bible,
the Ten Commandments,
and the sanctity of life to
be stripped, outlawed and
erased in our schools, our
government and in our
courts of law? Instead of
the blessings of God we are
now receiving the curses,
just as God warned in Deu-
teronomy 28. Nevertheless
there is yet a remnant of the
moral rudder for America
under the courageous lead-
ership of ministers like John
MacArthur, Grace Commu-
nity Church in California.
When God was kicked
out, Satan was ushered in.
All Christians, including
myself, that allowed this to
happen on our watch need
to repent.
Without courage, the
church of Jesus Christ is
impotent. Courage is what
separated every leader of
the Bible, the Gospel and
America from those that
spoke all the right words
but lacked the courage to
stand against evil. We are
launching into the Biblical
time of Great Tribulation.
Our hope, our fortress, our
truth is the one we have
denied. Jesus Christ is the
captain of our salvation.
He is the Lord of Lords
and King of Kings. Submit
your heart and spirit to him
and take off the mask of
submission to the world.
Jesus is the only answer
to the chaos and confusion
