County folks to get dunked
Elected officials and em-
ployees of Morrow County are
volunteering to get “dunked”
at the fair to raise money for
the Neighborhood Center. The
group will be available to get
dunked Friday, August 16 from
noon to 4 p.m.
The dunk tank volunteers
will include Commissioner Jim
Doherty, Commissioner Don
Russell, Assessor Mike Gor-
man, District Attorney Justin
Nelson, Undersheriff John
Bowles, Criminal Sergeant
Brian Snyder, County Admin-
istrator Darrell Green, Finance
Director Kate Knop, The Loop
Coordinator Anita Pranger, As-
sistant Road Master Eric Imes
and Human Resource Director
Karmen Carlson among others.
The profits from this fund-
raiser will help purchase food
for the Neighborhood Center
Pantry. From January to July
of 2019, the Neighborhood
Center has provided 502 food
boxes to families in need who
live in south Morrow County.
The Neighborhood Center also
helps the low income with
utilities, gas and emergency
prescription assistance.
