Morrow County Jackpot Rodeo
shows the local talent
The Oregon Trail Pro Ro-
deo Committee continues to
offer a one-of-a-kind com-
munity rodeo for its youth and
alumni graduates in the form
of the Morrow County Jackpot
Rodeo.
The original MOCO Ro-
deo was held on Friday night
but, due to the abundance of
local rodeo talent, the show
was moved to Sunday to offer
a full day of rodeo after the
OTPR has ended. This is a very
special one-of-a-kind rodeo,
where the same committee
members who have worked
tirelessly all week come back
out on Sunday just for Mor-
row County residents and past
alumni.
Morrow County cowboys
and cowgirls are well known
in the rodeo arena at all ju-
nior and high school rodeos,
as well as college, amateur
and professional rodeo circuit
trails. These competitors have
traveled to many corners of the
United States and continue to
be true ambassadors of Mor-
row County.
The MOCO Rodeo also
serves as a great little rodeo
alumni reunion.
The sponsorship from lo-
cal businesses, private indi-
viduals and ranchers is greatly
appreciated, giving all partici-
pants a chance to win numer-
ous event buckles, a saddle,
and a day to remember for
their lifetime. It’s not geared
just for the kids or adults that
travel competitively in rodeo
all summer, but to anyone in
the county that wants to try to
ride a sheep, compete in the
stick horse race, barrel race,
rope or ride.
If you are a Morrow
County alumnus, immediate
family of an alumni or a Mor-
row County resident for six
months, you are eligible to
compete

Thursday night through Sun-
day of rodeo weekend. For
