nament.
The team left very early
the next morning for the
long drive to Enterprise.
The weather was not as
good on this day as it was
cold and very windy at
the Alpine Meadows Golf
Course. Scores for the golf-
ers were affected by the
wind but the view of the
snowcapped mountains
made it bearable for all who
were in attendance.
Once again, the girls
won the team title by shoot-
ing a 416. Grant Union was
second with a 493 score.
Nicole Propheter fin-
ished second at the tour-
nament by shooting an 82.
Kennison Wilkins, Claire
Grieb and Caitlyn Scriv-
ner rounded out the team
scoring for the Mustangs.
Suzy Cason and Cami Va-
nArsdale also made the trip
and played.
The Heppner boys
took home the team title
by shooting a 354. Enter-
prise was second with a 390
and Grant Union was third
with a 477. The Mustang JV
boys team shot a very good
405 on the day.
Kellen Grant won the
tournament by shooting
a great score of 76 in the
windy conditions. Cason
Mitchell was second with
a good round of 79. Reno
Ferguson and Casey Fletch-
er each finished with a 92
and Logan Burright shot
a 94.
Other players for the
Mustangs at Enterprise
were Gavin Hanna-Robin-
son, Hunter Greenup, Cody
Fletcher, Derek Smith and
Charles Cason.
The Mustangs will have
the district tournament next
up on their schedule. It will
be played at the Pendleton
Country Club next Monday
and Tuesday, May 6-7.
