be held as a fundraiser for
United Way of Umatilla/
Morrow Counties. Partic-
ipants may buy a Tastiest
Taco stamp booklet of 10
locations for $10. Test one
taco at 10 different local
restaurants in Hermiston,
Irrigon, Pendleton, Stan-
field and Umatilla to deter-
mine the tastiest taco. The
booklet will include one
taco per person per vendor,
but additional tacos may
be purchased. Booklets

ternship Workshop at the
Port of Morrow Riverfront
Center in Boardman. The
Port of Morrow was one
of four locations in Oregon
selected to host an Ore-
gon WORKS Community
Internship Workshop. A
community-wide summer
internship program makes
connecting talented young
professionals to local busi-
nesses easier for both the
businesses and those seek-
ing employment. During
this workshop, employers
will learn how to attract
and retain interns by work-
ing together to develop a
county wide marketing and
outreach plan. The plan
will be developed over
the next year and ready
for implementation during
Summer 2020. This Com-
munity Internship Work-
shop is presented by the
McMinnville Economic
Development Partnership
by grants from The Ford
Family Foundation and the
Oregon Community Foun-
dation. All employers in
Morrow County are invited
to participate in this free
workshop. Lunch will be

to host
events
Heppner High School
golf team will be hosting
their 23 rd annual fundrais-
ing scramble tournament
Sunday, April 28 at Willow
Creek Country Club. The
three- person scramble is
$40 per person with lunch
provided. Prizes will be
awarded to the top three
net and gross place teams
as well as many door prizes.
The golf team will also
be hosting a home invita-
tional on Thursday, April 25
at 12 p.m. This match was
rescheduled from April 11,
due to weather.
