Playing order of basketball
games announced
Heppner High School
has announced that all
Blue Mountain Confer-
ence basketball games will
be played in the following
order: Boys JV, Girls JV,
Boys Varsity, Girls Varsity.
“We want to communi-
cate to parents and fans that
our order of play is boys
early/girls late,” said athlet-
ic director Greg Grant. This
order mirrors the rotation
the OSAA has at the state
tournament, where each
gender will alternate play-
ing their championship ses-
sion late every other year.
The schedule has become
the standard operating pro-
cedure of the conference.
