August 14: Morrow County Sheriff ’s Office received a report on NW Water St, Heppner of a 68 year old male with chest pain. Transported. -MCSO received a re- port on SW Fourth St, Irri- gon that there is someone out in a field nearby that is yelling just grab him, pos- sibly her neighbor’s horse. Advised they are telling each other to be quiet and using flashlights. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a report at Anson Wright Park on Hwy 207 Spray, Heppner that heard sub- ject wasn’t doing well and would like deputy to check on him. -MCSO received a re- port at Irrigon Shell Station on E Hwy 730, Irrigon that a green minivan was in the gravel twice and appears suspicious. Unable to lo- cate. -MCSO received a re- port at Heppner car wash of a car that has been left here for a while. -MCSO received a re- port at Kinkade Rd SW/ Olive Ct, Boardman of a dog at large. -MCSO received a re- port at Irrigon Elementary school on SE Wyoming Ave, Irrigon that there is a German shepherd dog at the rear of the school that has been there for over an hour. -MCSO received a re- port on Juniper Canyon Rd, Lexington that there is some bogus activity on his account. RP advised there were two checks and his card was used to pay on a credit card. -MCSO received a re- port that Alejandro Nunez was arrested on IJC war- rant, lodged at UCJ. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Utah Ave, Irri- gon that a copper colored Dodge Caliber just came down SE Utah real slow and when the driver got in front of RP’s residence the driver turned the wheel of the vehicle slightly and spun his wheels. -MCSO received a re- port at Irrigon High School on SE Wyoming Ave, Irri- gon that at about 1330 today her vehicle was backed into by a pickup. Her insurance is requiring a police report. -MCSO received a re- port on E Hwy 730, Irrigon there is a black Lincoln SUV on the shoulder at the 171, there is an elderly male subject slumped over the steering wheel. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port on I 84 E, Boardman that there is a tire tread on I 84. MCSO deputy was able to get turned around and get the traffic hazard. -MCSO received a re- port on Bombing Range Rd, Lexington that there is a coyote in the road. Removed. -MCSO received a re- port at Columbia Ave NW/ Third St NW, Boardman of red haired male walking with female. Officer made contact with male subject. -MCSO received a re- port on NE Gilmore St, Heppner of a male that leaned out of the passenger window and told her two kids he was going to shoot them and kill them. Advised the kids were walking home from the elementary school when it happened. RP be- lieves the subjects live in Heppner. Jail. -MCSO received a re- port that Kyler Douglas Dial was arrested by Pend- leton PD on MCCC war- rants. Lodged at UCJ on $225,000 bail. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Third St, Irrigon that a few hours ago her dog was barking and ran to the back door like someone was trying to get in, now her rottweiler in the back yard is barking and she is con- cerned someone may be at her house. RP advised it is the worst she has ever seen. -MCSO received a re- port at Riverview Mobile Court, E Hwy 730, Irrigon that Cristine Luzette Men- doza was arrested for vio- lation of restraining order, lodged at UCJ. Unfounded. -MCSO received a re- port on I 84 W, Boardman that a semi has stuff blow- ing out of the top of the truck. -MCSO received a re- port that Gene Ray Ball was arrested at UCJ on no bail. -MCSO received a re- quest for a welfare check on Kangaroo Court Ln, Irrigon on a six month old patient living with grandma while mom is in prison, child may have cancer in one eye. Grandma is not respond- ing. Would like deputy to contact the female. -MCSO received a re- port on NW Morgan St, Heppner that subject was just at his residence and is very intoxicated, heading towards Riverside. Subject is all over the road and has almost been hit by vehicles. -MCSO received a re- port at Hwy 730/Bombing Range R, Boardman of a single vehicle MVA, white F150. RP advised the sub- ject seems to be intoxicated. -MCSO received a re- port on I 84 W, Boardman of a pickup pulling a flat bed trailer with ATV on it has no tail lights on the trailer. August 17: Morrow County Sheriff ’s Office received a report that there may be a fire near Irrigon from a lightning strike. Unable to locate. -MCSO received a re- port at AC Houghton on NE Main Ave, Irrigon that there has been a white car parked at the school for three months. Last night it was replaced with a black car. Today the white car is back and the black one is gone. Deputy made contact with owner. He had re- moved them and will keep them off the property so as not to get towed. -MCSO received a re- port at Bombing Range Rd/ Little Juniper Ln, Lexing- ton of a stubble field on fire and is growing. -MCSO received a re- port on Rhea Creek Rd, Ione that RP would like contact regarding her tenant harassing her via text mes- sage and threatening to take her to court. RP wants the tenant out. -MCSO received a re- port of a black Mercedes speeding around town and doing laps around the Hager Park area. -MCSO received a re- port on SE Division St, Irrigon that a Hispanic male broke his back gate and came on his property. The Homestead 4-H Club held their monthly meeting at the Ione Legion Hall at noon on Nov. 4, with 15 members present. Presi- dent Jake Heideman led the group in the Pledge of Alle- giance and the 4-H Pledge, vice president Chris Dames took roll and secretary Co- rey Rice read the minutes of the last meeting. They were approved as read. The club enjoyed pre- sentations by Torie Rice and Lauren and Allison Crum on horse showmanship, fit- ting and grooming and also by Bronwyn Wright about rabbits and chickens. “It was neat hands-on lessons,” said club reporter, Gage Heideman. The next Homestead 4-H Club meeting will be on Dec. 16 at the home of Deacon and Erin Heideman for a club Christmas party.
