CARD OF THANKS
I would like to say thank
you to all the family,
friends, co-workers and
businesses in our com-
munity for being so lov-
ing and giving during my
medical leave from work.
A very special thank you to
my sweet, caring and lov-
ing boyfriend, Rick, who
has been right by my side
through all of the rough
times, helping me with
everything, every day,
through my hip replace-
ment. What a trooper!
Love you babe.
A special thank you to Te-
resa Jones who opened a
Go Fund Me account to try
and help with some of my
medical costs. You’re my
hero and I can’t thank you
and your sis, Liz Jones, for
all you did to get the word
out, and, wow, did you get
the word out.
The outpouring of love,
with visits, cards, food,
rides to the doctor appoint-
ments and PT (that group
of girls at Pioneer Memo-
rial Physical Therapy is
awesome), and even a little
babysitting after surgery,
so Rick could get away.
And I could not have
even thought about going
through with the surgery

without having some help
with my mail route.
Special thanks to Mary
Haguewood who started
this by asking how she
could help.
Then, Ruth Eadler came
out of the woodwork and
said she would help out.
At the mailboxes at Blakes
Ranch I was talking to
Darlene Klock who lives
up there and, she said,
“Well Shari, if I can help
I would do what I could.”
And then all of a sudden, I
had a team together.
A team is what they are too.
They trained with me until
surgery and then helped
each other train together to
get it down. I can’t thank
them enough for making
this even possible.
I love living in a place
where people share and
care about each other. Re-
member to give or pay
it forward next time you
have the chance because
next time it could be you
on the receiving end.
Love you all and thanks,
Shari Ober

I would like to thank ev-
eryone who came and sup-
ported the benefit dinner/
auction for Michael. It’s
hard to come up with the
correct words to say other
than this is overwhelming.
So many people gave so
much of their time, money
and effort to put this on
that I’m hesitant to men-
tion names for fear that I
will leave someone out. It
does show how blessed we
are to live in the little town
of Heppner and how giv-
ing and caring people are.
Thank you everyone and
God bless each and every-
one of you !!
Sincerely,
Jim Angell
