Sheriff’s Report
The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information:
October 10: Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
responded to Irrigon High
School, SE Wyoming Ave,
Irrigon regarding a juvenile.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Hager St, Hep-
pner of a tan husky type dog
running loose disrupting
his dogs and others in the
neighborhood. Unable to
locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port from a company that
has fiber optic cable run-
ning through property on
Schiller Dr, Echo, but the
property owner is threaten-
ing to shoot anyone who
comes on the property.
-MCSO received a re-
port of a road rage incident
involving a blue GMC pick-
up. RP can show deputy
where it went.
-MCSO received a re-
port of a dog running on W
Hwy 730, Irrigon towards
the bank. Deputy left mes-
sage for the owner.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Love’s Travel Stop
on Tower Rd, Boardman of
a black Jeep Grand Chero-
kee on I 84 W that was
traveling at a high rate of
speed and cutting people
off. Currently parked at
Love’s. MCSO responded
and spoke to the driver.
-MCSO responded to a
report of a disabled vehicle
at Mill Zone, Hwy 74, Hep-
pner. Subject on the phone.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
of a male and female in a
two tone early 90’s brown
pickup having a rolling
domestic dispute. They are
yelling and hitting each
other and all over the road.
-MCSO received a re-
quest to talk to the subject
that lives at 180 SE Clover.
-MCSO received a re-
port of a large fire across
the street on Wilson Ln,
Boardman. Black smoke
and big flashes.
-MCSO responded to
Columbia River Ranch
on Kunze Ln, Boardman
regarding a car partially in
the ditch.
-MCSO received a re-
port from Oregon Trail RV
Park on NE Washington
Ave, Irrigon of really loud
music coming from a car.
October 11: Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received a report on Bomb-
ing Range Rd that there are
cows in the bombing range.
Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on W Fourth Rd, Ir-
rigon of neighbors cows
that keep getting onto his
property due to the fence
not being maintained. Also
concerned that someone
may hit a cow and get hurt.
-MCSO received a
report on SE Division St,
Irrigon regarding damage
to his vehicle by a subject
that was working for him.
Subject agreed to work off
the damages, but hasn’t
shown up.
-MCSO received a
report of a theft at Ir-
rigon High School, SE
Wyoming Ave, Irrigon.
Item was located, no theft
occurred.
-MCSO received a
report on Morgan Rd/
Lindstrom Ln, Ione advis-
ing that someone shot his
drill within the last week
or so. There are several
bullet strikes.
-MCSO received a
report from an off-duty
unit at High Desert Marine
on Bensol Rd, Hermiston
of a subject hit by a ve-
hicle. Referred to another
agency.
-MCSO responded to
a residential burglar alarm
on SE Kristen Dr, Irrigon.
No contact at residence.
Alarm canceled by alarm
company.
-MCSO responded
to a report of a brush fire
on Bombing Range Rd,
Boardman on the bomb-
ing range facility. Navy
handled fire protection on
their property.
-MCSO received a
request for a check on
Wilson Ln, Boardman
due to criminal activity of
people that frequent the
residence. Concerned due
to a fire and/or explosion
in the area last night.
-MCSO received a
report at North Co Trans-
fer station on Frontage
Ln, Boardman of a black
German Shepherd type
dog that is acting injured.
Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a
request from Clackamas
County to check on a
female on NW Morgan St,
Heppner. Deputies re-
sponded and made contact
with female.
-MCSO received a
report on Root Ln, Board-
man of a suspicious car in
the middle of the road in
the wrong direction. Blue
Honda Accord, WA plate,
has been there about two
hours. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received
a report of a possible
poaching on Lexington
Cemetery Rd, Lexington.
Private property across the
street, he heard a shot and
some deer took off. There
is a white Chevy pickup
parked up there.
October 12: Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received a report at Bunker
Hill Ln/Hwy 74, Heppner
of a subject lying next to the
road in the grass dressed all
in black. Deputy responded
and located the subject.
Subject was given a cour-
tesy ride to Stanfield.
-MCSO received a re-
port on Washington Ln,
Irrigon that a neighbor that
lives on Washington and W
Seventh was coming down
Washington and hit the
mailbox and garbage can
of her neighbor.
-MCSO received a re-
port of male subject in long
black jacket at SE Divi-
sion St/Knapp St, Irrigon.
Joseph William Johnson
arrested on UCCC war-
rant for FTA/Possession of
Meth with bail of $30,000.
Lodged at UCJ.
-MCSO responded to
SE Thirteenth Pl, Irrigon.
Juan Rodriguez Pacheco
was arrested on UCSO war-
rants and lodged at UCJ.
-MCSO received a re-
port on NW Water St, Hep-
pner of a theft of a tablet
stolen by a male approxi-
mately two days ago.
MCSO received a re-
port on Kunze Ln, Board-
man of a purse being taken.
Mariah Kay Hurse was cit-
ed and released by MCSO
on a UCSO warrant.
-MCSO received a
report at AC Houghton,
NE Main Ave, Irrigon of a
small black car driven by a
Hispanic female that flew
through the bus loading
zone heading W on Main.
There were kids and busses
in the area and it upset the
teachers and staff.
-MCSO received a re-
port that a person lost his
wallet.
October 13: Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceived a report at S First St/
Hwy 730, Irrigon of three
dogs running around on the
highway, afraid they will
get hit. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on Crooked Rd, Irri-
gon of a 2016 Dodge Dart
that has been repossessed.
Owner is unaware.
-MCSO received a re-
port on NW Riverside Ave,
Heppner of a horse walking
in someone’s yard. Doesn’t
look like it is tied down to
anything. Deputy was able
to get horse back in to the
area it belonged and put
fence back up.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 E, Boardman
of a mattress in the fast lane
of the freeway. Referred to
another agency.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Utah Ave, Irri-
gon of a text from 12 year-
old daughter that said she
was going to hurt herself.
Transported to GSH.
-MCSO received a re-
port at AC Houghton on
NE Main Ave, Irrigon of a
small black car driven by a
Hispanic female that flew
through the bus loading
zone heading west on Main.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Weston Route Rd/
Kelly Prairie Rd, Heppner
of a wrecked pickup on the
Western Route. Pickup is
well off the road and not
drivable. RP had called for
a tow, but nobody can come
until tomorrow.
-MCSO received a re-
quest on N First St, Irri-
gon for a welfare check on
neighbor. Neighbor lives
by herself and is elder. Gar-
bage can has been sitting
out on the street for a couple
of days and is usually put
away right after pickup. RP
has been attempting contact
all day. Her car also hasn’t
moved in a couple days ei-
ther. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port at E Main St/B St,
Lexington of a potato truck
parked on B St between
Main and Arcade. It’s been
running for roughly three
hours now and thinks it is
going to be disturbing if it
keeps running all night. Ap-
pears individual is sleeping.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Maple Crest Apart-
ments on Wilson Rd SW,
Boardman from a Spanish
speaking male that gave the
address and immediately
hung up. Unable to locate.
October 14: Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceived a report at Wilson Rd
Trailer park on Wilson Rd
SW, Boardman of a drunk
male on her front porch.
Subject cited for MIP alco-
hol and MIP marijuana.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Oregon Department
of Fish and Wildlife on
Hwy 74, Heppner of a sus-
picious male working on his
bike, thought it was suspi-
cious due to theft problems
there in the past. Unable to
locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port of property lost around
the third of the month in the
mountains.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Irrigon Shell station
on E Hwy 730, Irrigon that
someone took his green
Dodge van from the Irrigon
Shell.
-MCSO received a re-
port on W Fourth Rd, Irri-
gon that there are approxi-
mately six goats in her yard
that don’t belong to her. She
has closed the gate to keep
them off the road.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Sub Zero Motel
on S First St, Irrigon that
a subject is attempting to
pass a counterfeit $20 bill.
Spoke with both parties and
the bill is not counterfeit.
-MCSO received a re-
port form Boardman PD of
an overdue motorcyclist.
-MCSO responded to
3 rd St NE, Boardman that
her son is at the house now
and is threatening to hurt
her. Denver Hans Sparks
was arrested by BPD for
menacing.
-MCSO received a re-
port at a residence on NE
Second St, Irrigon that her
and her boyfriend were
fighting and he shoved her.
Both parties talked to and
separated.
-MCSO received a re-
port on County Line Rd
that a person that is on the
run from South Dakota is
at his mother’s house in Ir-
rigon and has warrants from
MCSO. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port from SE Utah Ave,
Irrigon that someone is
riding an ATV in the field
by his house. He would
like Deputy to see if they
can move farther down so
he doesn’t have to hear it.

-MCSO received a re-
port from SE Utah Ave/S
Division St, Irrigon of a
loud party going on near
the turkey shoots. Unable
to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port from Bucknum’s on
N Main St, Heppner of a
highly intoxicated male
urinating in the street in
front of Bucknum’s. Male
went back inside Buck-
num’s. Male is sleeping in
his vehicle.
October 15: Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceived a report at W Fourth
Rd/Washington Ln, Irrigon
of suspicious vehicles in
the area near the bushes.
Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Castle Rock Apart-
ments on Tatone St, Board-
man that her 12 year-old
son is missing. Advised he
was a birthday party at the
apartments outside in front
of the office and he has not
returned. BPD responded,
child was found.
-MCSO received a re-
port at W Hwy 730/SW
Fourth St, Irrigon of a
tractor trailer crashed and
laying on side, unknown
injury.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Brandon St,
Irrigon that subject down
the road may have taken
his dog to “do something
with it.”
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Utah Ave, Ir-
rigon regarding a subject
that peeled out in front of
his house and accused him
of stealing his dog.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Wilson Ln/Downey
Rd, Boardman of three
horses out on Garrison Ln
in Boardman near Wilson.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Main St Park, Hep-
pner of a dog tangled up at
the park, still attached to its
stake. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port at McSo Range on
Rippee Rd, Boardman that
she had reserved the shoot-
ing range from 4-6 pm, now
leaving but there are some
people out there shooting
now, which are not sched-
uled to shoot. Possibly ju-
veniles.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Heppner Family
Foods on N Main St, Hep-
pner that he lost his wallet
possible at Heppner Family
Foods. Advised it has an
Ohio license in it.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Green Acres on Pa-
terson Ferry Rd, Irrigon of
a domestic dispute between
his neighbors. Female half
was trying to move out and
the male half didn’t like
it. Unfounded, all parties
talked to but all stories were
inconsistent.
MCSO responded to
Wilson Rd SE/Main St
S, Boardman for a drunk
driver. Subject arrested by
BPD for DUII and released
on his own recognizance.
-MCSO responded to
residence on NE Second St,
Irrigon where RP reported
her and her boyfriend were
fighting and he shoved her.
Both parties talked to and
separated.
October 16: Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
responded to a disabled ve-
hicle with two female occu-
pants at I 84 W, Boardman.
-MCSO received re-
quest for a welfare check
on her father. She has been
trying to reach him for a
couple of weeks and voice-
mail is full. Concerned
because her father is get-
ting older and lives alone.
Deputy made contact with
subject, he will contact his
daughter.
-MCSO responded to
Willow Fork Dr, Board-
man to a report that her
ex-boyfriend just broke into
her house. Subject arrested
for Crlm Mis II and Burg
I and lodged at UCJ with
$55,000 bail.
-MCSO responded to
NW Church ST/N Main St,
Heppner for a loose dog.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Board-
man of a white car that hit
rumble strips on both sides
of the road and is driving
erratically. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port that Renata Lynne
Burns was arrested by PPD
on IJC warrant and lodged
at UCJ.
-MCSO received a re-
port on NE Eighth St, Ir-
rigon that a black Honda
Civic is going through the
area at a high rate of speed
and is an ongoing issue.
RP believes she lives on E
Seventh. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on SE Division St,
Irrigon that her son is a
runaway.
-MCSO received a
report that David Leroy
Brown was arrested by SPD
on P&P detainer and was
lodged at UCJ with no bail.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Morrow County
OHV park on Forest Ser-
vice Rd 21, Heppner of a
lost rifle off the 21 Rd.
-MCSO received a re-
port on I 84 W, Boardman
of a tire that came off a
truck in front of him and
is in the right lane. Truck
took the next exit. Unable
to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port on W Fourth Rd, Ir-
rigon advising that one of
his neighbor’s steers are
out again and is an ongoing
problem. Unable to locate.
-MCSO received a re-
port at Sinclair station on
W Main St, Lexington that
there is a semi hauling as-
